Due to continued growth and success, our client who are a specialist and leading service and maintenance provider serving the industrial market are offering a unique opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team supporting a number of service & maintenance contracts throughout Scotland on a full time permanent basis.

Employed in a field based role, you will be responsible for the modification & upgrade of various types of industrial spray booths including servicing, maintenance, repairs and testing working on the supply & extraction of air control systems, electrical controls & running gear including single & three phase and various control equipment including motors, fans, bearings etc.

Essential requirements:

·Served recognised electrical apprenticeship
·17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
·Competent working with both single and three phase
·Knowledge of PLC's and variable speed drives
·Mechanical aptitude
·Good problem solving skills.
·Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care with excellent communication skills.
·Full UK Drivers Licence.
·Willing to travel throughout the region if and when required

Additional qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, etc. are also highly advantageous.

The successful Engineer will have a proven track record of the above requirements (this is essential) and be able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care, good communication skills, a pro-active attitude and the capability to complete essential paperwork. Experience in anticipating and repairing faults will be required.

Also, our client is looking for an experienced Engineer who keen to progress and up skill and as such they are offering to put the successful engineer through their ACS Commercial Gas certification as training will be given as well as the legally required training to ensure you are always up to scratch with the latest practices.
