Our client provides state-of-the-art private patient facilities in the £35 million patient treatment centre. Working in partnership with NHS Trusts across the country they provide continually high-quality treatment, within state-of-the-art facilities, supported by the latest technology and the infrastructure of large NHS hospitals.

Job Description
We are looking for qualified and experienced nurses that come from either a medical, surgical or oncology background who will be able to prioritise their workload effectively and be able to work under pressure. They will be both professional and personable, with a passion for customer service and a desire to provide an exceptional patient experience.

The post holder will be responsible for outstanding patient care from assessment through to evaluations, always working with the wider multi-disciplinary team to constantly improve care standards. The post holder will also provide support with supervising and directing junior staff and will deputising for Senior Staff Nurse and Sister in their absence. This is a full time role consisting of 37.5 hours per week. The shifts include days, nights, weekend and public holidays. (7.30am to 8pm and 7.30pm to 8am) this will include a 9% shift enhancement on top of the basic salary.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Independently assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care
* Provide effective on-going evaluation of nursing care and interventions
* Implement changes in care smoothly, consulting patients, carers and the multi-disciplinary team
* Recognise and take appropriate action in emergency situations
* Record, monitor and interpret patient vital signs, reporting to the nurse in charge
* Accurately monitor and document nursing outcomes

Skills & Experience
* RGN, NMC registered with PIN
* Previous oncology experience advantageous.
* Previous exposure to palliative care would be advantageous
