Commercial Analyst

My exclusive client in Thetford is looking for an experienced Commercial Analyst to work closely with the Sales Director to provide Customer Insight & Business Intelligence Analysis.

You'll be responsible primarily for producing actionable business insight that will influence decision making within the Sales & Marketing teams and using analytical experience to constantly evaluate the business and customer behaviours in order to both increase the quality of service offered and maximise our efficiency and profitability.

You'll be providing robust and accurate reporting and ongoing forecasting of Sales information for the Sales and Executive teams on a monthly basis. Also supporting the Sales department to find new ways to attract Customers (Distributors and End Users), maximise the value of existing Customers and retain and grow the most profitable ones. You'll manage pricing exceptions and control margins by providing and maintaining price authorisation templates to ensure a swift process for Sales team feedback and internal margin sign-off.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Deliver Sales Analytics and Enriched Data sets at Distributor and End User Level
Support Rolling 12-month key customer plans with Insights and Analysis
Support the strategy development of Distributor pricing and terms
Manage price authorisation and margin control sign-off processes
Own and enhance the existing CRM system to include managing the process and reporting
Support the Sales Director with general administrative support
