Occupational Therapist - Brighton/Seaford
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to work a fantastic local charity based in Brighton, East Sussex which support children and young people aged 11-26 who have a wide range of learning and physical disabilities including autism and aspergers syndrome.
This role will involve you working slosely with the young people to ensure that there is an effective and efficient occupational therapy service being delivered on a daily basis and that the young people benefit in their day to day lives. The role will involve you delivering individual OT assessments with the end goal of the young people reaching their full potential from both their personal lives and their education in the school.
To be considered for this role you will need to be HPC registered. Ideally you will have experience of working with children and young people with a range of diagnoses. Training in sensory intergration to level 2/3 and AMPs is also desirable. We are looking for someone who is dynamic and thrives on teamwork and enjoys working collaboratively. You will need excellent interpersonal skills and have a flexible approach.
This role is full time (40 hours a week) and you will be required to work across two sites in East Sussex; Brighton and Seaford. Benefits associated with this role include full support, training and development opportunities as well as health and pension schemes.
