SEN Early Years Teacher
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced Early Year's Teacher with experience of working with children with SEND to join the team at a lovely SEN primary school in Croydon. NQT's are also welcome to apply.
We provide education for pupils with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism from 4 to 11 years of age.

The post requires the practitioner to have a sound knowledge of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage, excellent communication skills, a commitment to inclusive practice and be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team. To be able to directly deliver outstanding teaching and learning across the school and provide professional leadership and management of the early years foundation stage within the school.
The successful candidate must have worked with children with a range of needs and be dedicated, passionate and committed to achieving the very highest standards of teaching, learning and assessment and as part of the leadership team manage a team of Nursery practitioners.

You must have substantive post qualifying experience in the early years. Early years teaching qualification and have had some experience of working with children with additional needs. The post holder will need to be a skilled communicator, be able to sensitively interact and communicate with parents who are coming to terms with their child's additional needs.
A key part of the role is to monitor, evaluate and review the quality of learning and teaching in the EYFS and share judgments with staff as appropriate.
Identify key professional development needs and ensure these are met through the provision of high quality coaching and mentoring.
Work with the senior team and contribute to continuing professional development (CPD) activities, particularly in respect to the EYFS.
