JavaScript Developer X 2 - React + React Native

We are searching for 2 Front End or JavaScript Developer (s) to join two separate product teams working on a 12-month digital transformation for a large UK organisation. The role will be working on multiple greenfield React, and React Native, applications and they are happy for you to learn those tools on the job.

The successful JavaScript Developer (s) will working alongside a Tech Lead, 2 mid-level .Net Engineers, a Senior DevOps Engineer, Senior QA Engineer and Product Manager in each product team through every stage of the SDLC from requirements gathering to delivery.

Your work will focus heavily on ES6 JavaScript for the Front End building components in React, and React Native, creating state management via Redux and some middle-tier work with Node. All features will be created following TDD, in an Agile team using a fully automated Continuous Delivery Pipeline.

We are looking for anyone with experience building JavaScript applications using any framework (Angular, Backbone, Vue or React) and a good vanilla JavaScript. You'll also need to have advanced knowledge of modern CSS tools, and methodologies, including SASS/LESS and BEM/SMACSS respectively.

Whilst you will be working in a modern, and automated, agile environment following TDD, you do not necessarily need to have this experience already. If you have some understanding of these concepts, and actively want to work in this way, the team are happy to help you up skill in this area.

Lastly, although not fully responsible for the planning and architecture of the projects you will be heavily involved in these discussions and be supported be the Tech Lead to learn more about these things with the end goal of helping you develop into a Senior Engineer capable of Tech Leading the Front End of large JavaScript applications.
