Our client a leading provider of professional accredited courses is looking to recruit a Sales Specialist to join their already established and successful team.

This role will be pivotal in growing the business and generating new income streams and you will have lots of responsibility right from day one.

Therefore, the successful candidate will need to be a results-driven sales professional with agility and ambition.

The Sales Specialist is the first point of contact for prospective students and is responsible for ensuring that students receive relevant information regarding the study options and courses available, cross-selling and upselling.

This role will involve:
- Converting enquires into sales
- Following up on enquires which did not immediately convert to sales
- Identifying and developing new business
- Building effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, potential customers.
- Submission of monthly reports to the Senior Manager
- Providing accurate information to students in relation to the range of courses available and discussing their suitability for each course
- Building rapport with prospective students in order to understand their aspirations
- Ensuring the Operations Team have all relevant student details. -
- Handling the processing of all enquiries with accuracy and timeliness

Qualifications and Core Competences:
- A levels and/or relevant professional qualification/experience
- Ability to manage your own workload.
- Strong proactive, analytical and reporting skills.
- Persuasive and friendly manner
- Strong customer orientation
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to positively influence a diverse range of individuals inside and outside the business. With at least 3 years experience in a similar role you should have proven experience of working in a target-driven sales environment and generating new business.
