Role: ICT Service Desk Team Leader
Primary Location: Cardiff with visits to offices in West and North Wales
Salary: Up to £31,000 DOE + Benefits

Due to a recent restructure within their ICT department, my market leading client are currently seeking an experienced Service Desk Team Leader to manage the ICT Service Desk across the Group.

The ICT Service Desk provides 1st line support to over 600 individuals throughout Wales. The Service Desk Team consists of 5 Service Desk Assistants, support for field workers is delivered by a third-party company, which the Service Desk Team Leader will also manage. The successful candidate will be expected to manage the service in line with ITIL principles. This can be a complex and challenging role and the successful candidate will need to be able to take changing priorities in their stride and cope with multiple problems simultaneously. The successful candidate will also expect to mentor and coach the team to improve their technical skills expanding their ability to support the Group.

You will report directly to the Head of ICT and prepare monthly performance reports. Staff are located primarily at our Head Office in Cardiff but there is also staff at both our West and North Wales regional offices. Therefore, you must be able to travel throughout Wales, overnight stays will be expected.
