We are looking to recruit a Social Media Executive

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Executive to join their team, they are looking for candidates who will be a creative, fun and informative voice of the company to the community.
This role first and foremost requires an individual who loves creative products and can share their passion online.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be creative by developing engaging product content (written, photography and video), whilst ensuring the company image and tone of voice is maintained.
The primary goal of this role is to increase their social community and turn their customers into fans, and their fans into brand ambassadors by spreading the love of the company globally.
Job Purpose:
1. To identify key customer audiences, creating an interest and raising awareness of the company (via social, PR, partners, bloggers)
2. Produce engaging written expert content.
3. To take the promotional calendar (topical national days / weeks / occasions) and ensure the company communicates them effectively and consistently across all social media channels.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Awareness: Increase community size (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube).
• Engagement: Increase engagement % (comments, retweets / fans & followers).
• Conversions: Drive online sales through our social channels.
Core responsibilities:
A) Engagement:-
Social Media:
• Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
o Developing relevant regular engaging content - written, video and photo, to engage with fans / followers.
o Ensure all social content is up-to-date (banners, promotional messages etc.)
o Monitor, listen and respond to users in a "Social" way.
o Liaise with customer service to answer customer questions.
o Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
o Brainstorm new content ideas and trends to stay ahead of the competition.
• Update social community images as per promotional calendar, e.g. cover photos
B) Awareness Building:-
• Increases awareness by contacting respected individuals, bloggers, publishers (PR), content affiliates & partners.
• Identifying effective social media content to (paid) boost for maximum awareness.
• Help to keep up-to-date the blogger & press release mailing database.
• On a monthly basis send bloggers relevant products:
o Suggesting specific products for their magazines / website.
o Providing product samples for reviews.
o Announcing new product ranges & company events.
• Liaising with editors / bloggers and answer questions to build strong links.
C) English-speaking markets UK, Ireland, Australia and USA
• For all the above, the Social Media Marketing Executive is responsible for delivering on a worldwide, group level. In addition, this role also looks after the specific UK, Ireland, Australia and USA session communications needs.
Skills required:
• A passion for creative products
• Content creation experience (written, photography and video).
• Social media / digital marketing experience.
• A passion for social media and building excellent relationships with customers & influential bloggers.
• Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
• Experience of Hootsuite or similar social posting management software.
• Experience of Google Analytics.
• Experience in Photoshop would be advantageous.
The successful candidate may be asked to help with any other online marketing activities as and when required.
