Development Lead / Product Manager (C#, .Net)

£50,000 to £60,000 + bonus & benefits

We are seeking a Development Lead / Product Manager to work with a global company with a dynamic and modern business culture, offices located in Cosham, near Portsmouth.

The scope of the role is broad, bringing together multi-faceted technical and leadership skills to enable the improvement and evolution of wide ranging business systems, websites and technology platforms.

Summary of Role & Expectations:

As Development Lead you will:

* Design, create, test and document new and existing software components to agreed specification, quality and security standards
* Working within the Solutions & Architecture team, deliver strategic and tactical business change.
* Work closely with the IT delivery team, in the form of Business Analysts, Project Managers and the IT Service Team.
* Calibrate with business stakeholders to drive development of the Web/Software platform, ensuring the platform delivers and supports current and future needs;
* Working with Systems Architect on technical platform direction;
* Working on strategic projects, in order to deliver large scale operational improvements;
* Typical small team mix of junior, mid and senior developers and QA's, reporting to Lead Developer;
* Mentoring junior and less experienced developers

Technical Expertise:

Around 5+ years industry experience in the following areas:

* Development frameworks: Microsoft .Net 4.x code base platforms using C#, experience of additional languages beneficial (Java, Ruby, Python)
* Web Technologies: Microsoft MVC 3+, HTML5 and CSS, JavaScript and frameworks
* Testing Frameworks: NUnit, Moq, MSpec
* Data & SOA: Microsoft SQL Server, No SQL DB's (Raven, Redis), ORM's, nServiceBus Industry experience of using best practices for code design (SOLID, design patterns)
* Previous experience of working in a B2C or consumer lead business on customer facing or back office systems would be advantageous
* Experience leading small teams Experienced in Agile methodologies especially Scrum & Kanban
