You will also be within easy reach of a whole host of cafes, restaurants and cultural activities which can be enjoyed with teammates after work days. Naturally, you are also a very quick walk away from the Arsenal stadium and if you've ever been in this area on a match day, you know full well the incredible electric atmosphere that is created by fans which you will get to be in the thick of.

The children's centre, which is aimed at families in the local area support children and families from the antenatal care stages right through to primary school and beyond. The centre offers classes and courses to upskill family members, a nursery, play sessions, speech and language therapy sessions, and much much more.

For this role in particular, we are looking for someone who will take the lead on the early years curriculum and will work on the floor with room leaders to model good practice and to ensure the curriculum set out is being followed successfully and to help when it isn't. You will run and track assessments for the children and will also be taking on the duties of a SENco (training for this will be provided if you have not done it actively in the past). You will need to log all assessments onto an internal system which will help you to track the childrens progress and as SENco, you will be the key person to ensure early identification for any possible learning difficulties or disabilities.

It's an important and big job but your ability to organise yourself and manage your time will mean you are up to the task. Your naturally caring nature combined with your sense of humour will make you an excellent fit within this team too.

In addition to these wonderful qualities, you should also have experience of teaching and running assessments for children, a degree or similar qualification in Early Years with the further add-on training required for early years teaching, prior experience of recording and tracking assessment data, and as the cherry on top, prior SENco experience... though this one is more desirable than essential.
