A position has arisen for an Account Manager to support a team of consultants who specialise within the energy industry.

The main purpose of the role will be to provide Management of all energy contracts through a full and bespoke tender process for a variety blue chip clients. Overall client/account management to ensure 100% client service

The main duties will be:

" Tendering commercial utilities contracts on behalf of a variety of clients, which vary from public sector organisations to blue chip companies
" Liaising with the client to ensure all tender records are accurate, the contracting needs of the client and terms & conditions that need to be negotiated on their behalf with the suppliers
" Liaising with the supplier to negotiate on behalf of the client contractual requirements and terms that are essential for the supplier to "win" the tenders given to them
" Full analysis & Reporting of Tender results to clients to show current and future values of contracts, with clear and concise recommendations being made to the client on what contract to accept and reasoning behind it
" After tender service - ensuring all contracts have been successfully confirmed and "locked in" and removing any supply objections that maybe raised promptly
" Further energy reporting needs for clients met promptly through working with other members of the department to produce required bespoke reports
" Handling general client queries about their utilities, providing relevant recommendations and working on their behalf to solve supplier issues
" Overall portfolio management through accurate administration
" Further building of relationships with existing and new energy suppliers to maximise potential service and prices received from the market

The ideal skill set needed is:

" 3-5 years commercial experience
" Experience of client relationship management
" Ability to develop strong client and supplier relationships through business continuity and effective communication
" Confidence and abilities to communicate with people at all levels of organisations
" Experience and good knowledge of Microsoft office, in particular Excel & Outlook
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills
" Concern for accuracy and ability to be meet tight deadlines
" Strong administrative skills, working to certain accuracy and using these skills to underpin the account managers day to day activities
" Energy industry experience would be desirable but not essential
" Professional Attitude to work and achieving results
