1st line support helpdesk Active Directory Exchange Customer Service

£18,000 - £22,000 Bristol

My client is a growing IT systems and solutions provider with a broad client base across the UK. They are looking for an individual who is computer literate with quality communication and interpersonal skills to join their thriving helpdesk team as a 1st Line Support Analyst.

This role would suit an individual with a real passion for IT, and recent graduates in Computer Science, Forensic Computing, IT or Software development will be seriously considered. The role may also suit an individual with experience in a customer facing or customer service role who is looking to move into IT Support. People who are already in a 1st Line Support environment would also be very much of interest for the role.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem solving skills, and will be comfortable in communicating with people of all levels. This is a busy environment where workloads can change on a regular basis, so the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable is essential.

The responsibilities of the role include;

- Troubleshooting customer queries
- Logging user complications
- Escalating queries to senior support colleagues where necessary

Therefore you must possess the following skills:

- Strong communication skills
- Experience in a customer service focused position

Desirable skills:

- Active Directory
- Exchange
- Office 365
