Management Accountant (CIMA / AAT / Manufacturing)

Job Responsibilities:

To prepare, report, develop and analyse key financial information to ensure that the management team make well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth and profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

* Compilation and distribution of monthly management accounts and contribution reporting
* Stock accounting, including reporting and analysis
* Reporting and control of work in progress
* Reporting and management of raw material stocks
* Identify and recommend ways of reducing costs
* Ensure the business is compliant with financial governance requirements
* Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
* Work with all departments and the management team to help make longer term forecasts and financial decisions
* Contributes to team effort by undertaking tasks as required by your Line Manager
* Comply at all times with the letter and spirit of the Company's Health, Safety & Environmental
* Policy, Equality Policy and Code of Conduct

Job Skills and Qualifications:

* Ideally CIMA qualified / AAT Qualified .
* Good understanding of manufacturing processes and stock accounting.
* Be able to work under your own initiative both independently and as part of a team.
* Require excellent accuracy and attention to detail, good computer skills in particular Microsoft Office suite (including excellent knowledge of Excel) and experience of ERP systems.
* Strong communication skills for dealing with internal and external customers.
* Good organisational skills and able to work quickly under pressure to confidently meet deadlines.
* Preferably with experience of system development and implementation.
