Our Client, a FTSE 250 listed company, is currently seeking a positive and professional Complaints Officer to join them in a role which requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team and the ability to understand the needs of the business.

The ideal candidate will need to ensure the current complaints process and procedure is being utilised effectively, all complaints are documented and dealt with in a timely and professional manner. You will be required to liaise with internal departments and external agencies therefore communication skills are imperative to this role.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Providing high quality and professional advice and support when speaking on the phone with customers
- Investigating the complaint competently and impartially
- Obtaining additional information when necessary to enable a resolution
- Ensuring all FCA’s Treating Customers Fairly principles are in place
- Communicating professionally with a variety of people
- Maintaining up to date and accurate documentation
- Assisting with identifying complaint patterns and produce root cause analysis
- Carrying out general office duties
- Being able to adapt to constantly changing requirements and perform any additional tasks as required

Skills and experience
- Complaint handling, insurance claims or arrears experience
- Excellent communication, organisation and multi-tasking skills
- Computer literate
- Able to work effectively under pressure
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Positive professional attitude
