We are proud to be working on behalf of a local training body that provides innovative education solutions to young children and teenagers. Our client are currently recruiting an experienced Provision Manager to provide on hands support to the teaching staff and spearheading day to day operations and activities.

The successful candidate must possess previous experience in the education sector, along with an in depth understanding of health and safety and risk management. A1 Assessor qualified is not essential, but strongly desirable. The role is based in Nottingham, East Midlands.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Providing constant support and supervision to members of staff and pupils
• Taking action when necessary in accordance with organisations policies and procedures
• Encouraging students involvement with practical and theoretical activities
• Acting as senior supervisor when out on site, ensuring actions are taken to maximise the safeguarding of all pupils
• Leading scheduled team meetings to discuss any escalated issues and suggesting the best course of action to take
• Monitoring classroom based activities ensuring that health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
• Keeping an accurate record of any accidents or hazards that occur on the premises
• Liaising closely with HR, finance and business support departments
• Acting as the first point of contact for parents and dealing with any concerns in a professional and effective manner
• Ensuring the smooth running of all activities on site, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for all members of staff and pupils

Qualifications and experience:
• Experience meeting annual performance criteria in the educational sector
• Experience working with young and vulnerable children within an educational or social care environment
• Experience delivering vocational teaching at KS3,4 or 5
• Hold a relevant qualification in education, health or social care (e.g. NQT, QTS, DipSW, NQLT)
• Understanding of health and safety and safeguarding of vulnerable people
• A1 Assessor award is not essential, but would be highly advantageous
• Must demonstrate a clear passion for delivering positive outcomes to young children and vulnerable adults
• Hold a full clean driving licence
