Insure Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of the largest global independently owned insurance brokers in the world, with an enviable record of growth over the last few years.

They operate out of multiple territories and have an international branch network, dealing with both retail and wholesale clients and operate a culture that is unique, emanating from the entrepreneurial spirit of its senior management and the flat structure in which the organisation operates.

This opportunity is for an Account Manager to join the Major Risks division in the business based from their City location.

The client base is cross class and the role would ideally suit someone who has dealt with Global or International outward programmes however they may consider someone with a large UK domestic background who has worked on complex corporate risks for a large broking house.

This Account Manager role will aid in the overall service proposition to clients ensuring that the business is retained and developed.

You will provide support to the Account Executives and New Business Executives in the overall servicing of client's policies. You will effectively manage all renewals and adjustments in a timely and professional manner, accurately preparing client and market documentation and identifying the risk exposures whilst advising on insurance and risk management solutions in consultation with the Account Executives and Development Executives.

The right individual will have strong communication skills, (verbally and written) and proven knowledge working within the insurance industry in the areas cited above. You will have the ability to build and maintain good business relationships, work in support of other team members, have strong service ethics with the ability to manage time and prioritise without compromising quality. Experience of global business is an advantage but not essential.

The ability to broke and service the requirement of clients is a prerequisite, whilst being able to identify opportunities for business development.
