B2B Telesales Consultant

My client are a leading provider of solutions to retail.They specialise in selling Retailer Gift Cards to businesses for staff rewards and sales promotions, as well as selling their own EPoS software and Loyalty solutions to Retailers.

They now require an experienced telesales operator who can work on a variety of telesales projects, contacting businesses on behalf of their major clients, as well as contacting retailers to sell their services. Contacts will typically be senior HR or marketing managers of large companies, or senior decision makers of small to medium businesses.

You will be provided thorough training regarding the retailers and the services to be offered.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Experience of business to business telesales to senior managers
  • A professional approach and manner - you will be representing household brand names
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good verbal communications skills
  • The ability to think creatively, recognise opportunities and close sales (although in most cases the lead will be passed to a senior Sales Manager).
  • Enthusiastic approach
  • The ability to self-motivate
  • Willingness and ability to learn

Beneficial Requirements

  • Software sales experience
  • Experience of working in retail
  • An understanding of plastic retail Gift Cards or EPoS - but training will be provided.
  • An understanding of larger businesses and their typical department structures
  • Good written communication skills
