Breakfast Supervisor


My client a leading Hotel located in East Horsley is currently looking for a Breakfast Supervisor to join their team.

As Breakfast Supervisor you will be working within a busy fast paced environment you will ensure the smooth running of the Breakfast Service within the restaurant.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Ensure that breakfast is served efficiently, the restaurant is clean and the team provide a high customer service for our guests.
* While you need to provide training to the new starters to ensure the general standard is provided, you will also consult and report to your line manager on daily basis.
* Have an overview of the section to make sure that preparation will be carried out for breakfast
* You ensure that the restaurant is kept clean and tidy.
* Make sure that all the Health & Safety requirements are completed and COSHH regulation followed.

* Attaining budgeted revenue and net operating income and supporting all revenue centres within the individual operation.
* Assure product quality and consistency is maintained to company benchmarks.
* Oversee all hiring and development procedures within company parameters, influencing and motivating employees through regular training.
* Assure that the budgeting process is performed accurately and efficiently.
* Promote guest satisfaction throughout the operation.
* Promote creativity and innovation with the staff.
* Assure product quality and consistency is maintained through use of employee feedback, Critique Sheets, Mystery Diner Reports and Guest Feedback.
* Promote guest satisfaction throughout the operation with continued training of staff.
* Promote creativity and innovation with the staff with Focus Groups and incentives.
* Establish and enforce property specific Standard Operating Procedures.
* Institute and monitor service and/or product upgrades in order to maintain the Group's competitive edge.
* Based on shared responsibility and leadership, unifying the talent and energy of each member of the team.
* Distinguish us as the industry leaders that continually improve to maintain our cutting edge.

My client is looking for someone who has the ability to bring and keep energy in the room, can remain cool under pressure and is able to deal with potentially stressful situations with finesse and style, maintaining a composed and confident demeanour.

You will have a proven track record in a similar role within this industry, ideally with knowledge of Weights & Measures Act, Licensing Laws and Food Hygiene Regulations.

This is a full time position working 45 hours a week (breaks included), your shift will start at 6.30am so you will need to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
