Magnetic is working with a leading private provider of NHS services to find experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join the team at their Coventry Walk-in Centre on both full and part time contracts. You will provide advanced levels of autonomous nursing practices to assess, investigate, diagnose, treat and refer walk in patients within set guidelines as part of a multi-discipline team that includes GP's, HCA's and a Dressings Nurse.

The Advanced Nurse Practitioners will provide full cycle patient care by:

Assessing, stabilizing, treating and managing patients
Independently and autonomously assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients with attention to physical, emotional, social, cultural and mental health issues
Be responsible for the administration and supply of medication to patients to set criteria
Providing support such as advice, guidance and training on professional nursing issues, and taking part in clinical governance activities
Work in a collaborative manner with others to ensure seamless service delivery
Participate in the use of reflective practice, nursing research, audit and clinical supervision

It is a 7 days a week, 365 days a year service, open from 8am to 10pm so can offer flexible working patterns in line with the needs of the service, long shifts, earlies, lates etc. Part time hours available too.

Person specification

The qualities we are looking for in Advanced Nurse Practitioner applicants are:

First level Registered Nurse MSC or equivalent (RGN)
Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification
Independent nurse prescriber qualification
Experience working autonomously diagnosing and treating patients
Clinical experience in a walk-in style / A&E, urgent care environment
Teaching and assessing experience/qualification (minimum ENB 998 or equivalent)
Accredited training in Advanced Clinical practice skills including the management of patients with long term conditions and complex needs
Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
