Berry Recruitment are currently seeking a Catering Manager to work for a well established charity in Watford.

The role will report directly to the Director of Housing and you will be responsible for the management of an efficient & effective catering operation.

You will be responsible for developing a strong & successful relationship with the staff team & suppliers.

Key Elements:

Ensuring legal & internal requirements are adhered to in respect of Employment Law - Health & Safety - food safety for all staff & service users.

All Administration, stock control & Safety procedures are accurate & agreed with policies & procedures.

Planning & organising all work in a manner that facilitates efficient customer service in line with budgets.

Essential requirements:

A First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake training.

IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word & Excel.

Strong planning & organising skill in order to coordinate & deliver a high quality & timely service through a sizable staff team.

Ability to work with customers who may have challenging behaviours & who may not be able to communicate effectively.
