Senior Pastry Chef-de-partie required for a unique Award-winning Prestigious 4 star venue, with a 2AA rosette restaurant and amazing C & B Facilities.

Based in the heart of the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.. Nr Hatfield

Must have rosette standard experience ideally within a 4/5 star hotel environment

£24,000 + Fantastic Career Prospects, working within a stunning environment
Contracted 45 hours over 7 days.

My client is a hugely successful 4 star unique hotel and wedding venue with amazing conference & banqueting facilities.

Due to their continued success and growth my client are now recruiting for an experienced
Senior Pastry Chef-de-partie to work within an amazing team!

Purpose of the role
The Senior Pastry C.D.P`s primary objective will be to support The Head Pastry Chef and Pastry Sous Chef in the pastry kitchen. As Senior Pastry Chef-de-partie you will be preparing top class dishes, desserts and baked goods using fresh local ingredients. To be successful within this role, you will need to have previous experience in a rosette accredited establishment ideally within a quality hotel. Attention to detail is essential with a focus on consistent quality of product and presentation.

Essential Qualifications

- Experience in a 2 rosette level or 4 star property.
- Knowledge of HACCP and Health & Safety procedures
- Thrives on working in a fast-paced environment
- Handles pressure calmly and professionally
- Committed to the highest standards of cuisine, presentation and food preparation.
- Relevant experience gained in a similar environment is essential

Key Responsibilities

- Shares skills and knowledge with staff under his/ her control to establish basic skills and knowledge and develop them according to individual and section needs.
- Preparing cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
- Follow all Safety and Hygiene regulations as instructed by the kitchen.
- Complete all administrative tasks required

Person Specification

- Must have previous experience working as a Senior Pastry Chef-de-partie Ideally within a Rosette accredited establishment within a 4/5 star hotel property
- Experience of motivating and managing your section
- Strong knowledge of Safety & Hygiene procedures within the kitchen
- Car owner and driver due to the location
