Responsibilities:

Management of commercial team responsible for production of Providers Works Schemes, Initial Target Prices and Final Targets Prices in line with the schedule of rates for the contract and operating in accordance with the contract. Ensure client reporting requirements are met and work is carried out in accordance with documented processes and procedures.

* Ensure financial targets are met by effective allocation and education throughout the Commercial team including:
* Control of compensation events
* Effective Supply Chain Management
* Provide financial clarity to scheme delivery team
* Active scheme monitoring
* Interaction with cost capture team
* Interaction with the operational teams
* Preparation of target prices for schemes using contract schedule of rates at feasibility and during/on completion of detailed design stage.
* Ensure that tender request information issued to Sub-Contractors for pricing complies with laid down processes.
* Managing the commercial aspects of all subcontract requirements including preparation of enquiry/invitation to tender documentation and contract documents, obtaining quotes, issuing of orders and instructing of subcontractors on schemes.
* Preparation of costs and input into Subcontract Liabilities upload for monthly Highstone Application for Payment, and month end reporting requirements.
* Ensure that estimate information periodically required by the client, confirming predicted value and comparison to scheme expenditure, is sufficient and is submitted in the agreed format.
* Produce relevant information to ensure satisfactory completion of scheme PCCR reports, and Activity Benchmark Sheets for onward submission to HA.
* Maintain comprehensive scheme target price records for audit.
* Provide reports and other information to the business as required.
