To be considered for this role, you must have a background within a fast moving environment such as Food, Pharma, Print etc., and have PLC experience.

The package for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer includes:
• salary for the position - £ 43389.88
• 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays

• Shifts and working rota – days (6am – 2pm) lates (1pm – 9pm) Nights 9pm – 6am), weekends, days (6am -6pm) nights (6am-6pm)

Accountable to: Technical Overseer

Function of the job: To carry out reactive and preventative maintenance within a modern production facility. You will be covering a 24/7 operation including bank holidays on a rotation system of nights, days etc.

Faultfinding, repair, and maintenance on a diverse range of equipment:

High-speed control systems and drives. Responsible for all electrical and electronic auxiliary systems within the facility including production machinery, building services equipment and distribution systems.


• Served a recognised electrical apprenticeship.
• TEC HNC or equivalent in electrical/electronic engineering.
• IEE 17th Edition.

Key skills:

• Working experience within a high volume, high speed process environment;
• Good working knowledge of complex control systems, PLCs, industrial drives, positional control;
• Software literate;
• Experienced with MV and LV distribution systems;
• Highly developed diagnostic skills and ability to read complex circuit diagrams;
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical principles;
• Ability to learn and adapt to new methods and technology.

The role:

1. Rotating shift pattern covering 24/7 including bank holidays.

2. Able to work well under pressure in a high speed, high volume production environment.

3. Team player with ability to work under own initiative.
