We need an experienced Pre-Sales consultant to join a growing International ERP Software company. Our client is extending its product portfolio and reaching new markets so, as a key Pre-Sales Consultant who will be supporting experienced solution salespeople, you’ll be busy. Expect to be traveling in this role as you visit organisations throughout the UK, Europe and the USA.

This is an important front-line position and you’ll be leading prospect discussions on architecture, product options and suitability. Your goal is to become the trusted expert in the room and work with prospects to help build a case that is favourable to my client’s solution. In pre-sales, the objective is to analyse, advise, demonstrate and validate my client’s solution as the most appropriate. If your preference in pre-sales is to roll out product demonstrations, this role is not for you.

As well as a strong understanding of IT architecture, you’ll also require a deep understanding of manufacturing, finance and distribution processes, preferably in one of the following markets:

• Automotive
• Food & beverage
• Consumer Products
• High Tech

Reporting direct to the VP of Business Consulting for EMEA, you’ll be joining a team of existing Pre-Sales Consultants and working alongside a Business Development Manager and a team of Account Managers. You’ll provide subject matter expertise internally and externally and you’ll challenge the status quo if needed.

• To fully engage with prospects throughout the course of the ERP sales cycle

• Use your industry best practice knowledge to advise appropriate solutions even if these are contrary to the clients initial requirements
• Develop and maintain skills to promote yourself as a trusted advisor
• Keep up to date with market trends that impact the business and those of its clients
• Represent the business at trade promotional events
