Apprenticeship Overview

Flexera Software is seeking a versatile, hard-working, and talented Apprentice who is passionate about starting an exciting career in Marketing and Sales, to join our business development team in Cheshire, UK. Flexera Software views these apprenticeship opportunities as a feeder to our entry level team post-completion.

During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with The Apprentice and Training Partnership, delivered through combined classroom based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning, at the end of which you will have achieved the following qualifications:

• Level 2 Customer Services Practitioner Standard
• Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Customer Services
• Additional certified modules in Market Research and Digital Marketing
• Level 2 Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT

Potential Responsibilities

• Provide prospecting support to Flexera’s Worldwide Sales Organization
• Conduct comprehensive research on assigned target accounts including finding new contacts and triggers
• Collaborate with Sales Development and Field Sales to understand account history within assigned target accounts
• Work jointly with Marketing on account-based marketing plans
• Add and maintain accurate records within our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
• Learn the fundamentals of effective prospecting strategies including building a proper cadence with messaging
• Learn how to conduct a proper prospecting call including handling common objections

Skill Requirements

• Organization and time management skills
• A Levels or GCSE in either French or German is preferred but not essential
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Partnership and teamwork skills/experience
• Enthusiastic, passionate, and professional attitude
