An excellent job opportunity has arisen for a skilled Business Analyst to join a rapidly expanding organisation that are based in Cwmbran. You will join an international organisation that specialise in developing products for a range of market leading communications, media and high tech companies. They boast an impressive global portfolio of clients and they offer excellent scope for career progression.

The Business Analyst will be a part of the Products group where you will be required to assist with the capture and definition of detailed requirements and play a part in shaping the development of new product features and the ongoing refinement of existing ones.

You will take responsibility for the conceptual and functional designs of the organisations software products. You will be required to capture and create requirements through conducting interviews and workshops, develop and maintain user cases describing these a clear and concise manner and write Product Requirement Definitions for each product release. By liaising with the engineering team, you will ensure the meaning and testability or requirements are correctly transferred. You will participate and drive design sessions with the engineering team and customers and take responsibility for the technical resolution of issues arising from changes to scope, requirements and design.

In order to be successful for this role, you will need a demonstrable track record in Business Analysis and ideally have familiarity with modern development languages and environments. You must be able to participate in industry groups and conferences to drive the company view of the market and have experience with different software delivery models including Agile, Scrum, iterative, etc. Using your excellent stakeholder management skills, you will build effective and robust partnerships across the business and customers and be able to develop and deploy training materials for new product releases.

My client is looking for an individual who is commercially minded and detail orientated with the ability to ability to effectively problem solve and influence others. You must be adaptable to change and comfortable working in a demanding environment with little supervision.
