Help us Transform the way the World does Business

We’re looking for an Alumni Giving Volunteer Manager to support the success of the London Business School, by helping us get the most from our alumni volunteers, and by helping to deliver our annual fundraising programme.

The Role

Connect us with our Alumni Community 

In September 2013 we set ourselves the target to raise £100m and 100,000 volunteering hours over the next five years in our first ever fundraising campaign. We finished two years early, having raised £125m and 124,000 volunteering hours. As part of our Advancement team, it’ll be down to you to help us continue excelling in our alumni-giving efforts. You’ll help support our success by:

• Managing and delivering the Reunion fundraising programme
• Recruiting Reunion volunteers and supporting peer-to-peer fundraising
• Working with internal and external teams to develop our online fundraising platform, keep our site up to date, market our events and engage alumni
• Analysing and developing our alumni engagement and fundraising strategies

To do that, we have to make sure we have the support of an engaged alumni community on our side. As the Alumni Giving Volunteer Manager, you’ll make sure our fundraising efforts are effective and efficient, and help guarantee our success for years to come.

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Ability to build strong relationships and build rapport
• Experience working with volunteers and face-to-face fundraising, and an ability to maximise results
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to remain professional under pressure
• Sharp attention to detail and strong organisational and time-management skills
• Project management and delivery skills
• Sound numerical skills with the ability to understand and manipulate financial info
