Savings Operations - Probate Team Advisor
We are looking for individuals with a friendly, professional and empathetic approach to work to join our Savings Operations – Probate and Legal team, where you’ll play a key role in supporting internal and external customers with queries and transactions relating to bereavements, Power of Attorney and Legal/Legislation HMRC Guidelines.
As a Probate and Legal Advisor you will:
Be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of paperwork linked to a bereavement or legal instruction associated with a Power of Attorney.
Provide subject matter expertise to customers and the rest of the business in relation to probate, power of attorney and HMRC guidelines.
Handle and process customer’s confidential and sensitive information adhering to all appropriate legislation and codes of practice, i.e. Data Protection Act and Money Laundering.
Support the workload of other teams within the Savings Operations Department.
The Savings Operations Department is a key area of the business responsible for providing a first class service to internal and external customers. This is a fast paced environment which consists of large work volumes, covering in excess of 40 different tasks! Support is readily available and there is a proven track record of helping staff progress through a well-structured pay progression framework.
We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail to ensure that they are accurate and get it right first time for our members. Someone who is able to cope with handling and processing large amount of paperwork within set timescales. You will also need to be able to prioritise workloads, be an effective communicator across multiple channels and have a flexible attitude to support other areas of the business during peak volumes. In this role it is also very important you can demonstrate due care and diligence with regard to the sensitivity of the customer’s situation.
