Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant, seeking a new challenge within a successful organisation?

An unmissable opportunity has arisen within a national business based in Harlow.

Supporting the Finance Manager, this is a pivotal role responsible for managing the Sales & Purchase Ledger function. 

This exciting and varied role involves, but is not limited to; checking and matching invoices with Purchase Orders and Goods Received Notes, investigating differences, entering stock and non-stock invoices and running daily sales invoices.

Alongside this, it will also involve sending end of month statements to customers, producing bank statements daily, checking against remittance advice notes and entering receipts on to accounts, manage and support preparation and maintenance of the asset register, preparing accruals based on unapproved invoices.

Supporting the Finance Manager, the successful applicant will also collate evidence of the accuracy and completeness of the AP sub-ledger, ensure monthly sales cut off is managed to tight deadlines for reporting and liaise with administration teams.

The ideal candidate will possess previous Accounting experience and be available to begin a new role in Harlow.

This is a fast paced, high volume role - so experience of Microsoft Office and Excel are essential. This is a great opportunity to join a large, successful organisation that promotes staff development!
