Opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive to join the external relations team of a leading financial services company based in Birmingham.
As Marketing Executive, you'll work with a Marketing Account Manager to deliver marketing plans and campaigns, and will be actively involved in the whole marketing mix, assisting with strategic plans and activity for both online and offline. You could be working on website content management, data management, creative advertising campaigns, communication campaigns, and exhibitions and events. Duties of the role will include working on the delivery of planned marketing activities, developing relationships with contacts and departments, supporting campaign requirements, assisting with marketing briefs, writing copy for marketing materials and websites, and coordinating the production of a range of marketing communications.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate for this role will have two years' experience of working in a marketing role, and will either have a recognised marketing qualification, or be working towards one. You should have good knowledge of web, email, and social media marketing, and an understanding of Google Analytics and SEO. You must be able to manage multiple activities in a high-pressure environment, and to communicate complex ideas. You should have strong proof-reading, organisational, and administration skills, and must be proactive, detail-oriented, personal, articular, and commercially aware. Experience of financial services would be distinctly advantageous.
