Part-time Engineering / Carpentry Teacher required for a SEN school near Clacton
Your new school
This is a brand new SEN 6th form which is opening in the Clacton area. The school caters for pupils between 14 and 18 years of age with Moderate Learning Difficulties. The school will have a small, family feel and will continue to grow.
Your new role
This is a newly created role as an Engineering/Carpentry teacher delivering City & Guilds Level 2. This is a part-time position working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on a permanent basis. The class sizes will be small and each pupil will have a moderate learning difficulty. There will be teaching assistant support in class.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will be a qualified secondary or FE teacher, who has delivered Engineering / Carpentry or similar previously. Design Technology and Resistant Materials teachers will also be considered. SEN experience would be beneficial but not essential as full training on behaviour management etc will be provided. You will be available Monday to Wednesday from September.
