We are looking for a new Bar Manager to join the team at Crab Tavern. This is a great opportunity to work in restaurant in the heart of the city in a great community of hospitality traders. The summer months are very busy and therefore our team is expanding. The Crab tavern is a successful seafood restaurant with a really vibrant bar.
Your duties will include:
·Doing a weekly stock take.
-Ordering of all Beer, Wine, softs and spirits.
·Getting involved with new ideas for the bar/restaurant In terms of cocktails and drinks offers.
·Ensuring that every guest receives a warm and friendly welcome on arrival.
·Delivering the highest standards in food and beverage service.
·Exercising an eye for detail, flexible, consistently delivering a seamless service and is able to rise to the challenge of our guests.
·Ensuring correct set up of bar maintaining the highest standards in a relaxed and attractive environment.
·Anticipating guests’ needs, responding promptly, creating solutions to any issues that may arise.
·Staff recruitment, training and development.
·To ensure that the highest levels of cleanliness are maintained within the bar area.
·To take responsibility for cash handling and use of our POS system.
·Maintain a friendly and enjoyable relationship with other staff members.
·To have a good understanding of all Classic cocktails
·At least 2 years experience working in high-end Restaurant/cocktail bar/Gastro Pub
·Experience in a previous managing position.
·A desire to provide consistent, excellent customer service.
