Senior Support Worker
A permanent position for Senior Support Worker within a children's residential setting
Your new company
You will be working for a well-established organisation who have been providing residential childcare since 2002. The organisation have a requirement for a Senior Support Worker on a permanent basis at one of their 4-bed homes in Walton.
Your new role
You will be responsible for providing care and support for children between the ages of 11 and 18 who demonstrate characteristics of EBD.
You will enable children and young people to maximise their chances of living independent lives and to enjoy, as far as possible, 'normal' age-appropriate recreational and social activities.
A typical working week is 3 x 14.5 hr shifts followed by a sleep-over which attract an additional payment.
What you'll need to succeed
Yo will be flexible and self motivated and be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's workforce (or equivalent)
Full references and DBS will be carried out and a driving licence is desirable but not essential.
