About the role

Supporting the Bid Managers and coordinating bid teams and activities with the aim of converting pipeline opportunities into winning bids, and securing new business consistent with our strategic goals and in line with company practices.

To achieve marketing targets to agreed KPI leading to income growth from new business by engaging in appropriate activities across the entire sales cycle:

  • Coordinate the bid team and bid activities to meet tight deadlines

  • Write proposals with the support of Subject Matter Experts to the highest standards

  • Maintain the Bid Library

  • Ensure consistency across the bid in style, format and language

  • Research market/competitor activity within the learning arena

  • Assist in wider sales team activities as and when required

Your experience will include:

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working with sales/implementations/operations teams on the bid process
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel), SharePoint and other bid/proposal related tools
  • Knowledge of best practice bid/project management tools/methodologies
  • Knowledge of learning and development or related industry would be beneficial


  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise confidently and effectively with colleagues
  • Good organisation skills with ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and environment

  • Excellent written skills

  • Ability to use initiative and work unsupervised
