An innovative award winning global player within the channel marketing incentive programmes market place is looking to add to their team as part of their continued success and growth of their EMEA based team. They are looking for a strong business development director to lead their new business sales team winning business within the technology software vendor amongst other markets through delivering a range of channel reward and sales incentive plans.

The Role:
As a business development director you will be responsible for putting in place a sales strategy whilst also delivering a business plan for new business activity within your targeted market places which include technology, travel, financial services etc. You will also be responsible for engaging with other internal stake holders from operations and other business units in order to ensure you have all the appropriate resources you need in order to ensure you build interesting and relevant pitches and propositions to target clients and prospects in your assigned target client base.


The Candidate:
You will be a highly successful sales leader / Business Development Director from within the marketing services arena. You will need to have worked within a marketing agency or loyalty marketing provider that has worked within the technology space ideally with a sound knowledge of channel marketing programmes and incentives. Any exposure to working client side in the past would also be advantageous however what is more important is that you have the ability and background of working within a role that is a combination of strategic and tactical within a related sector and can demonstrate the ability to develop and deliver a business plan by delivering new business revenue streams selling a marketing based service.

The Package:
On offer is a very attractive package with a base salary of between £70,000-£95,000 depending on experience with a healthy commission plan which is uncapped and based on a very conservation target of £120,000-£130,000 pension, health, plus a range of benefits etc. Also on offer for the right person is a rapid and rewarding career progression path as the company continues with its growth strategy across EMEA including opportunities to move in to management or potential to start your own business unit within the business focus on a particular area of interest / strength as they have implemented this several times in the past and will continue to do so as part of their growth strategy for the EMEA region.
