Customer Insight Scientist: An experienced Customer Insight Scientist is required to manage idea generation, conduct qualitative and quantitative research, and propose, establish and manage new projects.

As a Consumer Insight Scientist, you will lead customer insight and idea generation, partnering with the internal technology team and external innovation partners to define the specific technical deliverables, including the right clinical and testing programmes for registration and claim support.

The ideal Insight Scientist will be an expert in consumer understanding, able to work alongside medical professionals with little supervision. You will join the product development department, partnering with customers and the sales teams to establish project objectives and contribute to the growth of this successful, fast growing FMCG company, specialising in manufacturing and distributing unique, quality products within the healthcare industry.

*Understand customer needs and propose and manage the development of new healthcare products that meet these needs
*Work with customers and other stakeholders to generate new insights and product ideas
*Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on new concepts
*Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on product prototypes
*In partnership with the commercial and sales team, define project objectives
*In partnership with regulatory, define the specific clinical and claims programme
*Translate commercial objectives into specific technical deliverables
*Manage projects from idea through to launch

Skills and Experience:
*Degree in Science, Engineering, Statistics or other relevant area
*At least 5 years' experience in consumer research
*Specific experience in insight generation and qualitative & quantitative customer research
*Able to grasp the complexities of highly regulated medical products
*Relevant industry experience, ideally in Health or Medical Device areas
*Excellent interpersonal skills
*Excellent English-language written and verbal communication skill
*Methodical, accurate and consistent attention to detail
*Able to work as part of a team, supporting other team members in a busy global environment, across a number of different geographical locations
*Able to manage several concurrent project duties and competing demands
