Job Title: Care Home Manager (Housing with care)
Starting Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum + bonuses + benefits
Hours: 37.5 hour per week plus weekend work

We are currently seeking a committed and experienced Care Manager to take on an exciting role overseeing the running of a 90 bedded Elderly and Dementia Housing with Care facility in Norfolk. This state of art facility includes a restaurant, garden, cafe, shop, hairdressing salon and library.
Role Overview:
* To ensure the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents/tenants
* To ensure each resident/tenant has a person-centred care plan ensuring each care plan is implemented and reviewed satisfactorily
* To comply with the essential standards of quality and safety and maintain the Home to CQC compliance as the Registered Manager.
* To promote and market the facility with other professionals, agencies and the public in the wider community to ensure the home operates at capacity.
* To operate within procedures and meet set targets in terms of staff management, absence management, agency use, occupancy and performance
* To recruit and appoint staff as appropriate within establishment-agreed staffing resource levels
* To ensure compliance with, and the implementation of, the company dementia strategy

Requirements:
* Previous experience managing a large care facility
* Experience of managing in a Housing with Care setting (desirable)
* Proven track record in delivering excellent person-centred care
* A thorough understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008
* Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience managing budgets and recruitment of staff
* A positive, empathetic and professional manner
* Ability to work under pressure, and be flexible and adaptable in your approach
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care/Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care (Desirable)
