Senior Architect / Project Architect Runner

Location - Nottingham

Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 + Benefits (negotiable dependent on level of experience)


The role is commutable from the following areas: Derby, Loughborough, Leicester, Chesterfield, Lincoln

My client based in Nottingham is looking for an experienced Qualified Architect with at least 10 years' experience in the industry. The practice has been around for nearly half a century and strives on providing the best possible design advice to clients as well as maintaining a strong and trusted relationship with them.

The practice is currently working on a vast number of projects, ranging from the Educational, Retail, Leisure, Commercial and Residential sectors. Experience in other sectors is also welcomed. There are a number of Directors and Associates in the company that you will be working alongside, gaining experience and learning from their expertise with clear progression routes in place. My client is looking for someone with Project Running experience as you will be expected to run a minimum of 2 projects at a time; strong multi-tasking experience, ability to use your own initiative and ability to lead a team is essential in this role.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- 10 years' post-qualification experience (post part 3)

- Must be RIBA qualified and ARB registered

- Must be proficient in the use for design and understand CAD operations

- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, experience in Revit highly beneficial

- Experience in Vector works and ArchiCAD is welcomed

- Extensive previous architectural design experience

- Must have the ability to work to interpret a building program and generate varied design concepts; must have knowledge of building and zoning codes

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is highly desirable

- Proven time management skills and the ability to work on more than one project at a time

Interviews will be taking place as early as 16 th June with feedback given shortly thereafter.
