CAS Behavioural Health is one of the UK`s leading providers of specialist behavioural adult healthcare services.

Sedgley Lodge is predominantly for assessment, with more one-to-one support. Most rehabilitation activities take place on site, however, where appropriate, access to the local community is an essential step along the pathway to rehabilitation. At Sedgley, we encourage enrolment in courses at local colleges.

Sedgley House is a male mental health rehabilitation service providing full multidisciplinary inputs including occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry and vocational training. Using a unique Active Care™ programme, patient-centred care plans are devised to match individual`s needs.

Job Role:

- Build professional relationships with the clients and other staff at your establishment and throughout the company and disengage from these appropriately
- Do everything possible to maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment to live and work in, this will involve domestic duties
- Learn about our individual's specific needs and help meet those needs in the most appropriate way following all policies and procedures
- Assist clients with their medical and welfare needs and to report as required, which may include the administration of emergency "when required" medication
- Support our clients to maintain their personal cleanliness, general hygiene and appearance, this may include intimate care, following individual care plan

- Ability to follow a work pattern and attend work punctually and reliably
- Ability to participate in training and development to enable the job to be done to the required standard

Specific Requirement
Please note – this role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 as you will be in contact with vulnerable adults. Therefore all candidates invited for interview will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and any offer of employment is subject to successful clearance.
