MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE

Location: Office based/Chester Business Park
Salary: £20K - £26K dependent on experience
Bonus: Bonus opportunity
Profit Share: Profit share opportunity

Hours: 09.00 - 17.30/Monday to Friday

THE ROLE :

This is a new position, working in a small, but growing, sales and marketing team. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will produce multi-channel marketing strategies and take responsibility for their communication and execution, working and liaising closely with the Sales Team.

YOUR REMIT WILL ALSO REQUIRE YOU TO:

- Successfully connect and engage with our target audiences at senior decision-maker/influencer level, across a range of industry sectors
- Use that connection as a platform to develop and enhance solid relationships
- Write material for e-campaigns, adopting the “Sewells’ style”
- Generate quality new business opportunities for the sales team to pursue and convert
- Quickly assimilate and deal successfully with complex ideas and concepts
- Encapsulate and articulate the right messages to sufficiently engage audiences to respond
- Identify new industry trends, as material for campaign initiatives
- See the “bigger picture” and respond appropriately
- Balance the need for traditional, as well as digital marketing
- Track and report on the success of all marketing initiatives/campaigns

REQUIREMENTS:

- The capacity to develop, together with determination, resilience, drive and enthusiasm
- An entrepreneurial streak … we would like people who will be excited about growing the business
- A “strategic thinker” with a well-developed sense of personal accountability
- An ability to execute, reflect and make improvements

EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

- Marketing degree or qualification such as CIM
- Track record of successful marketing outcomes within a B2B environment
- Good understanding of the routes to market within a B2B business
- A good balance of traditional and digital marketing experience
- A full valid UK driving license (desirable)
- An understanding of basic HTML (desirable)
