An experienced and flexible Quality Control Manager is required to manage the work of sub-contractors, to deliver a high quality service standard for customers in line with agreed contracts.  This role will require a professional and time focused candidate who is committed to ensuring that the customer is satisfied with the service which enables future business growth.

The successful Quality Control Manager will be covering the Midlands and South Wales – a car will be provided.

As the Quality Control Manager your duties will be to:

- Manage the quality of the sub-contractors work in line with the agreed contract
- Promote good customer relationships
- Ensure resources and product are available in a managed and timely fashion
- Provide information on customer activity that supports future and current company development
- Provide adequate sub-contractor cover for each area of control
- Support sub-contractor training needs
- Set contractor performance measures – attendance, quality of work, punctuality, operating standards, accuracy, customer care, commitment levels, positive attitude, health & safety compliance and duty of care
- Complete relevant reports as required
- Liaise with all involved parties
- Interview and recruit potential sub-contractors

To be a successful Quality Control Manager you will have the following skills and experience:

- Experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to interact with customers, sub-contractors and internal staff in a professional manner
- Health and safety knowledge
- Problem solving skills
- Commercial awareness
