Key Objectives

The Commercial Department covers the Group business activities of demolition, land remediation and concrete cutting and as a Quantity Surveyor you will be part of wider management team, contributing to the delivery of our company values and key objectives on a day to day basis within each of the business units.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Work closely with Project Manager(s) to ensure the commercial success of each of the sites for which you are given responsibility for within the reigion
* Track the financial perfomance of projects against the tendered budgets and provide CVR's and forecasts to the Directors on a monthly basis.
* Produce sub-contractors, monitor labour, plant and material expenditure and drive cost efficiencies where possible on each of the sites for which you are responsible
* Deal direct with clients and their professional team with respect to valuing our ongoing accounts in terms of both measured works and any variations which may occur.
* Exposure to JCT and NEC formd of contract, plus bespoke forms of agreement on occasion
* Undertake adhoc projects as required
