Service Care Solutions are looking for 4 male support workers to start a long-term placement for our private client in Fareham, Hampshire.

The service already has 4 regular agency staff who work on average 40-50 hours a week and are supported in the same way as the substantive staff are. The service offers a comprehensive induction and some shadow shifts to enable new staff to get to know the people we support. The team are very supportive.

The client is looking for 4 male workers who are not fazed by supporting individuals with autism and severe learning disabilities. The service supports 2 gentlemen with autism in a registered service with very specific needs. They are both highly intelligent, affectionate and unique individuals who can at times present with behaviours that are challenging. The client is a 24/7 service and have Early shifts, Late shifts and nights. The shifts are 7.5 hours (day shifts) or 10 hours (night shifts) although staff may choose to work a long day and are supported with a ½ unpaid break.

Applicants for the positions will ideally be available to come and see the service and have the opportunity to discuss the service in more detail to ensure we can optimise finding the right fit for them and for the client.

The service will also offer the 4 new starters the opportunity to do training in Positive Behavioural Support Levels 1,2 and 3 to enable them to support our service in Hampshire. The service has PBS Training for Levels 1 & 2 on the 20th June (10:00-16:30) and PBS level 3 on 28th June 2017 (09:00-12:30) or (13:30-17:00). All applicants must be able to commit to this training if they interested in the role.

The pay scale for the positions is as follows:

* £9.50 per hour for weekday shifts
* £10.50 for night & weekend shifts
* £14 per hour for bank holiday shifts
