Industrial Sales Engineer

£30,000 - £35,000 + car + Phone + laptop + Commission


My client are specialists in in the design and manufacture heat exchangers also including repairs, refurbishments and maintenance.
They are now looking to add an Industrial Sales Engineer to their successful Sales Team to drive Sales and develop and secure new business.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and strengthen business with existing client accounts as well as developing new ones.
• Read and interpret customer drawings, accurately determining project scopes and costs.
• Manage the supply of multiple projects ensuring that production is on track to meet the required deadlines.
• Collaborating with internal departments to ensure customer deadlines are met whilst understanding the constraints of the overall production schedule.
• Agree and adhere to customer delivery dates through planning and prioritisation and managing customer expectation through to delivery.
• Work with the Workshop Manager and QHSE Manager to ensure the final product is manufactured to the highest required standard

• Mechanical / engineering degree preferred, but not essential in lieu of good relevant experience.
• Proven Account Management skills with a successful track record and background in technical sales.
• Extensive experience of preparing costs and quotations
• Sound working knowledge of the fabrication / refurbishment of heat exchangers e.g. welding, pressure testing, hydro testing and drilling.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Experience of working with an ERP system is preferred
