Position: 27001 Assessor & Auditor
Field based across Milton Keynes / Home Counties
Salary: £42000-£45000 per annum basic plus car + EXCELLENT PACKAGE (See below)

You will assess companies to ISO27001 standards. You must understand 27001 and have ideally implemented it into a company. Whilst the position is a field based assessor/auditors role, you will be given 6 months comprehensive internal training to be able to internally and externally audit to a BSI standard.

The role of the Assessor is to work closely with clients to help them improve their performance by assessing their systems and processes against BSI standards. At the end of each assessment the Assessor compiles a business report and presents this to the client.

*Candidates must have experience in ISO 27001 and come from a ideally from a managerial capacity within Information Security*

All Assessor will be field based work regionally from home, you'll visit Clients directly within the chemical/ plastics sector on an almost daily basis, travelling to their sites and gaining a real understanding of their organisation. By understanding their business and their challenges you'll be able to help them improve their performance by assessing their organisation or products against our clients management systems.

To be successful in this role you'll have a passion to improve, taking pride in what you do and having a methodical approach to your work. You'll have the confidence to communicate with all levels within a business, and discuss how you can help them to improve their organisation.
We help our clients achieve best practice so that means you'll need to have the ability to assimilate, articulate and present information at a high level. You'll be working constantly with clients so excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal communication and written report writing skills are also essential.

Having the knowledge and experience in the Information Security sector is vital aswell as a comprehensive understanding of business processes and management systems. You'll ideally have knowledge and training in ISO 27001.

You'll have operated at a middle Manager /Senior level and have a real understanding of how businesses operate.
