Our client seeks an IT Help-desk/First Line Support on a temporary basis.

Position Summary.
Working in a small IT team under direct supervision, effectively and efficiently supports computer-based business solutions for end user computing environments. ( 200 workstations)
Must be a good communicator and be comfortable supporting the majority of users via the phone or using remote support applications.

Main Duties:

* Log ALL service desk interactions.
* Responsible for solving basic/low-level problems requiring information from multiple sources or basic knowledge in application support in a thorough and timely manner.
* Expected to research problems and gather as much information as possible before escalating issue to senior engineers.
* Expected to have understanding of networking and troubleshooting of workstation hardware, software and applications in a business environment.
* Responsible for managing the day to day basic administration of the workstation environment.
* Responsible for maintaining updated records relating to workstation asset management.
* I/S Support Processes - follow defined I/S support process including: creating knowledge articles, aiding other team members, and completing general help desk procedures.
* Research questions using available information resources.

Technical Knowledge:
* Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems
* Office 2010/2013/2016/O365
* Basic Networking (including Wi-Fi) and troubleshooting
* Adding and troubleshooting printers
* Active Directory administration: Unlocking accounts, resetting passwords
* Mobile devices (Android and Apple)
