IT Support / Service Desk / Software

Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 based on experience

Romsey, Southampton, Hampshire

A 1st Line Software Support Analyst is required to join a busy IT team in supporting the companies bespoke software products. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide 1st Line Customer Support to external product users.

The company invest heavily in the continual development of its products meaning the support team must be able and willing to learning new technologies and products when required.

Responsibilities include:

* 1st Line support.
* Escalation of support issues where necessary.
* Logging of support calls.
* Liaison with 3rd party support and development teams.
* Regularly reporting on progress of tasks and projects.
* Happy working to KPI's

Summary of experience:

* Good all round skills in information and communications technology environments
* 1-2 years+ in a similar support role
* Strong communication skills.
* Willingness to learn new technology as required.
* Full UK Driving License.

Useful / Desirable experience:

* Experience with Linux and Windows OS
* Exposure to Mobile (iOS or Android) products
* MS SQL Scripting experience is highly desirable Peripheral Devices.
