An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Telemarketing Executive to work for our client based in Poole, Dorset!

Location: Poole, Dorset

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

35 hour week flexible

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 dependant on experience

This role is all about making an appointment at the end of the sales call for someone to go and see the school.

Job role and responsibilities:

  • An enthusiastic, results focused individual is required to join a growing sales team.

  • This office based, new business focused person will be responsible for telemarketing activity across the business.

  • The key responsibilities would include nurturing inbound and outbound leads, managing sales pipeline, generating new business opportunities and booking meetings for the external sales team.

  • This is a target focused role and the individual will be expected to achieve and exceed targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

  • The post holder is expected to build upon the existing relationships with the current prospects and create new exciting opportunities for the sales team.

  • Applicants will have a proven and demonstrable track-record in dealing with senior personnel to Director level over the phone in a telemarketing capacity.

  • It is essential that the post holder performs an efficient role in all system processes and drives new business appointments through a planned and well executed strategy in line with the business objectives.

  • The post holder will be expected to represent the business at all times, with a professional respect for the client's customers, suppliers and partners and to act as an ambassador of the company.

Skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Experience of making outbound calls and managing outbound lead and appointment generation campaigns.
  • Fully computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of telemarketing principles
  • A proven track record in telemarketing excellence
  • Experience of accurate CRM data and process management

Desirable:

  • To have previously worked within or for prospecting education establishments
  • To have previously worked within or for a service or software organisation
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM
  • Experience in account management

Specialist skills:

  • The ability to work within a team, independently and · manage own time effectively

  • Interest in business development and sales opportunity.

  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with focus on company values

  • Strong objection handling skills

  • Patient and able to handle rejection in a positive manner

  • Persistent and results-oriented

  • Highly proactive with a proven track record of hitting targets

  • Confident in discussing a wide variety of business services and products in a changing market

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Well organised and have the ability to multi task and prioritise workloads and campaigns
  • Driven by data with strong analytical skills
