Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a FTSE listed business based in Nottingham who are looking to bring in a confident and business facing Audit Manager. This role would work closely with the Head of Audit playing a key role in delivering independent assurance over the design and effectiveness of internal controls across the UK, EMEA and APAC regions.

This challenging and rewarding job role would give the successful incumbent a rare insight in to all aspects of this global business and regular interaction with senior management across all levels. With a proven track record of producing high calibre staff and future leaders, the Audit Manager role is a fantastic spring board for any ambitious accountant to join a company that offers realistic and achievable development opportunities.

This varied role will include the below core duties:

- Support the Head of Audit in developing the annual internal audit plan, taking ownership for several key stakeholder relationships across the region.
- Manage a varied and challenging workload ensuring the audit plan stays up to date
- Take ownership for several key audits as well as managing the activities of other internal auditors both within the UK and overseas.
- Prepare reports to detail audit findings and present to senior management. Also provide recommendations to improve internal controls and risk management.
- Take on adhoc project and commercial work to support the audit team and wider finance department as and when required.

My client feels this role would best suit an ambitious and driven ACA/ACCA qualified accountant who has a strong audit focus to their experience. Having trained and qualified within a Big 4 or Top 10 firm would be preferred although is not essential if applicants can demonstrate the above skills and experience. Covering the UK, EMEA and APAC regions, the Audit Manager would be required to travel internationally as part of the role (approx. 20% of the time) to work from their international subsidiaries and business units (These are predominantly based in the individual counties capital cities)
